About

Marshon Hughes—born August 12, 1982, in Chicago. Started filming and producing music at fifteen. At forty-four, he’s still building empires.

In 1996, he traded Windy City winters for Florida sun, graduating Northeast High School in 2000 as an honor roll student. No college—just straight hustle. At eighteen, he launched ITL Productions, his indie record label, turning beats into anthems of grit.

Life tested him early. He turned setbacks into drive—first as an admissions rep guiding kids toward futures he never chased, then Atlanta-bound in 2007. There, he built a film office in College Park, producing music videos, partnering with Hot Block Magazine for Hot Block TV, and filming stars at BET, Soul Train, Ozone Awards.

By 2011, he opened a halfway house in Broward County—guiding 450 people back from addiction. Nine years selling health and life insurance—shielding families from life’s hits. Then a music and film school in 2018.

In 2019, Chicago pulled him home. Through Marshon Hughes LLC, he crafts visuals that stick: photography, videography, 3D worlds. As @shawnthedonitl, his music still echoes Chicago soul.

His latest? Bella Bangs—an AI artist he built, dropping tracks like “Heavy Crown” in neon grit.

From first track in 2000 to digital empire today—Marshon proves: your story isn’t defined by what knocks you down. It’s rewritten by what you build next. Ready to capture yours?
